What is Click2Enter®?

Click2Enter® is the emergency access system used by local emergency responders to open private gates such as the front entrance of The Fairways at Fieldcreek Ranch. Law enforcement, fire, and ambulance authorities have unique frequencies for radio communication; simply "clicking" their microphones on one of the restricted channels will result in the gate automatically opening. Learn more at click2enter.net.

Due to the configuration of their radio system, Washoe County Sheriffs Office (WCSO) deputies must switch to a radio channel that, unlike agencies such as the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA) and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD), is not their primary frequency. The Washoe County Radio Shop filmed a training video at The Fairways in 2026 to be used by WCSO and we have posted instructions on our C2E controller reminding them of what radio channels ("WC TAC 9" or "8 LAW D") they must use for entry. First responders are supposed to hold down the mic button on their radio (while tuned to the correct frequency) until the light on the bottom of the unit turns red and then once they release the mic button, the red light will flash to indicate that the gate is being opened.

If you are ever in a situation where you need WCSO’s assistance, we recommend that you give your gate code to the 911 operator just in case the responding deputy is not proficient with using the system.

The Fire Access Road extending between Arrowcreek Parkway and Springer Court is protected by combination locks, for which the combinations have been provided to local emergency responders, members of the Board of Directors, and community management personnel.
